Our work with world-renowned cancer hospital The Royal Marsden was inspired by the campaign strategy, Building a Brighter Future.

From annual reports to patient guides, charity fundraisers to GP engagement campaigns and staff communications, we made sure that we truly captured 'The Marsden Magic’ in all our work.

One of the most memorable campaigns SERIOUS conceived and ran was the Charity Boutique fundraiser. The idea came from the hospital’s location on the King’s Road, London, home to A-listers and fashionistas. Initially, a charity shop run by celebrities was proposed. The idea morphed into an online Ebay charity auction of ‘money-can’t-buy’ donated cherished fashion items was opened to the ‘celeb crazy’ public and promoted through a wide range of channels, including social media, celebrity and fashion blogs, online and offline media, promotional materials and a press launch. Supermodels, actresses, singers and celebrities donated their clothes including Victoria Beckham, Gwen Stefani and Milla Jovovich. Not only were thousands of pounds raised for the auction, the Royal Marsden raised the profile of the charity to a whole new younger audience.
